Welcome to Bruface: the Brussels Faculty of Engineering
What is Bruface?
The Brussels Faculty of Engineering (in short, Bruface) is a joint initiative between Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), offering a broad spectrum of fully English-taught Master Programmes in the field of Engineering.

Why study at Bruface?
Bruface is unique in the way that you will receive a joint degree from two excellent universities. Alumni of Bruface appreciated in particular the excellent teaching and education, and the strong tie between student and professor. There are at least four reasons why you should consider applying.

Brussels is an ideal location for an international student: with 184 nationalities present, it is a warm and welcoming multilingual and multicultural city. In addition, Brussels is within short distance of many European cities and offers a great balance between city life and vast green areas to relax.

VUB and ULB have excellent standards of teaching and quality records. Professors and staff make sure every student is put at the center of their attention and care. The two campuses are within walking distance and offer great facilities for sports, student and networking activities.

Bruface tuition fees are largely funded by the government, making it one of the least expensive study programmes in Europe. Belgian education is internationally renowned for its high standard. Laboratories are supplied with the most up-to-date equipment.

As a Bruface student, you benefit from more than just education. Both universities offer a wide variety of services to support the student in their journey, such as study guidance, a student therapist, a study path counselor and group study sessions. Your well-being lies at the heart of our work.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brussels!
